We met 13 years ago while working together in Fuchsia Aromatherapy and Holistic Centre in Cork. Fast forward 10 years….. many training's and life-experiences later….. and our paths crossed again. A shared dream of opening a wellness centre began to form and our dream, a seed from all those years ago blossomed to create this. We had to close the premises in Youghal due to Covid but have just recently started seeing clients again from a new space just outside Clashmore village, ten minutes from Youghal near the Blackwater River.
Like everyone the past two years have been intense for us including amongst other things, a house move, closure of the business, new baby and the restrictions that we’ve all been dealing with. As we emerge into a new landscape, it is abundantly clear that wellness has never been more needed than ever, and we’re delighted to be back offering therapies and a healing space for people to come to.
Eilis, since becoming a mother, has deepened her journey with the power of Nature, Flower Essences, nutrition and herbs, Cranio-Sacral therapy and Yoga.
While Holistic Physiotherapy is a backbone of her therapeutic work , she also specialises in Women Health including fertility and pre and post natal care.
She plans to host a Women's health and cleanse day for the Spring Equinox.
Fergal has been on a learning journey with gardening and also completed just before lockdown, a training in Forest bathing, also known as Forest therapy. He continues to deepen his understanding of working with the body to affect all aspects of wellness.
He is actively involved with music and Sound Healing and is currently composing music for a 4-part Nature documentary series to be aired on RTE later in the year. He is also finishing an album of original music and music meditations and will be starting a healing drum circle in Spring 2022. Also on the horizon is a series of workshops on unlocking creativity, and Sound Healing.
With over 30 years experience between us our passion is to provide quality therapies and a range of classes, workshops, seminars, talks and
community pop-up events that give people valuable tools and resources to navigate the stresses and strains of modern day living.
Our yoga classes offer an opportunity to release unnecessary tension and discover your own personal movement practice, through awareness and breath. This embodied practice becomes a movement meditation, promoting centering, fluidity, flexibility and strength.
We help people with pain, musculo-skeletal problems, women’s health issues, anxiety, stress and
focus on root causes and solutions to illness; bridging the gap between western medicine and the
world of complimentary and holistic therapies.
As part of a growing movement, we are also creating an awareness of the link between nature
deficiency, illness and mental health issues. The need to reconnect to nature is at the foundation of what we offer, including use of essential oils, nutrition, movement and therapeutic practices that bring us back to our own body, an intrinsic part of nature.
